Pokeberries are one of the most efficient and affordable form of solar energy. These weeds grow on every continent, excluding Antarctica, and can hold immense amounts of sunlight within the berries. In the berries, there are small 'cup's that absord sunlight, until the 'cups' are full. There are countless 'cups' in the berries, so a lot of sunlight is absorbed daily. These berries create more than twice the amount of sunlight energy than a flat plant would, so it's much more effective. The way the berries are manufactured are by picking them, then spraying them with a type of fluid, then shipping them on some plastic sheets. Then they are sold to other countries, and then the other countries can start to create their own pokeberry farm. It's a cheap process, but a very helpful one as well.
I thought this article was fascinating. Even though it was only about a weed, the weed helps us tremendous amounts. I thought that if third-world countries could start to manufacture these and ship them out, they could start making some money and then they'd have less poverty problems, and help the environment at the same time! This was an easy-to-read article, a quick source for a simple fun-fact, and all in all amazing. I never knew that those berries were so helpful, and if used correctly, we could probably use solarpower more efficiently and more easily. I think that there should be at least two or three pokeberry plants in each some major countries, like North and South America, China, Africa, and Europe, so solar power would be used more instead of electric-power.
