more than half of birds that nest in tree don't make it till adult hood because of predators like snakes rat snakes are the most dangous type of predator to nesting they can birds because they can get up trees fast and they love the taste a bird so it make them ever deadly to little and baby birds.
i think this is a promblem but it has happened forever so its not going to kill the birds out its just a nature thing that happens all the time and they have not gone extient so i am not worried about it
