Discover extra layer of protection on bacteria spores

There was a study conducted by researchers who found out that the most resistant organisms on earth carry an extra coating of protection previously undetected. The researchers studied the spores of a non-pathogenic bacterium which is commonly found in soil. The scientist has called the undetected coating layer the spore crust. A combination of fluorescence microscopy experiments and high-resolution image analysis made the researchers to overcome a theoretical limitation of light microscopy, pinpoint the location of the spores' coat proteins with a good point of precision, and build a map of the spore coat.

Scientist discover new stuff every day and that a true thing. I never knew bacteria could have another coat that protects it. I think that it’s awesome how bacteria can protect itself by having coats that protect it from dyeing off. I think bacteria are cool and how they work and how they reproduce. I think that even though some bacteria can make you sick it helps humans too.
