Wow, this is absolutely crazy. Seeing the picture on the website is enough to know that this is very dangerous. You never know when one of these oil things in the ocean could just blow up. Also, what if there were people near these things? I can't believe the president thinks this is okay. When oil leaks into the ocean, it could kill a lot of sea creatures.

How risky is offshore oil?
On April 21, a crew of fire boat rescue had to help the Deepwater Horizon offshore with an oil rig. This oil rig and others have long-lasting affecting on the environment. Drilling for oil offshore is very dangerous these days and can affect the energy debate for years to come. When you have offshore oil, oil leaks large amounts into the ocean all the time. If this wasn't man-made then it would be fine. President Obama made it clear that offshore drilling is okay, but most people are saying he should re-think his statement and reverse it.
