Nature Fighting Back Against Gulf Oil Spill

The smell of the nasty oil of the shore of Mexico, could bring good news to the people in Louisiana. The smell that they could smell was the oil of evaporating, where once in the atmosphere it evaporates. The heavier oil will be broken done in to droplets, which will leave time for microbes to move in and feast. This oil riched water is basically butter to these organisms. These microbes only nibble on the smooth droplets first because they are easier to nibble on than jagged ones. Also because of the warm weather the microbes will stick around longer.

This to me is really interesting. I can not believe that there would be any type of thing that would want to eat oil to begin with. I also find it amazing how they are picky, that they only want to eat the smooth ones rather than the jagged ones.
